Nonprofit Centers Network – Site Redesign
View Project Website
The Nonprofit Centers Network is a fabulous group to work with! Their original website was built in Square Space, which does not offer the amount of flexibility they needed to really grab the attention of their uses and promote events and ideas.
Daniel is the lead developer at Boomerang Marketing. Daniel is our guru when it comes to WordPress and website development.Daniel’s formal education includes a BFA from The Savannah College of Art and Design. He chose to pursue a career in web development and has worked in the industry for over 10 years.
The old Square Space site was limited in design and functionality.
A strong emphasis was placed on the Events and Webinars they produce. We developed a whole section that promotes and archives these events efficiently. Notice the opportunity for another opt-in.
With WordPress we were able to enhance the aesthetic of the site. Were were able to focus on developing a much clearer and thoughtful user experience... starting with some strong call-to-actions on the homepage. Notice the prompt for the user when they land on the homepage. Also a global opt-in for the newsletter is built into the header. The user can close that area if they are not interested.
We produced custom graphics and rich page layouts for many of their more important areas.
The blog is a great tool for the Nonprofit Centers Network. We developed a custom 'Guest Blogger' system to make it easy for them to show off content written by guest authors. The sidebar is used to promote their upcoming events.
